Hofheim/Ts. In order to cement and further expand its market position with variable rate notes, so-called ‘Floating Rate Notes’, ‘TASS Wertpapiermakler Trading and Sales Support GmbH’ from Hofheim am Taunus changed its status to ‘TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH’ on 1 August 2007 and thereby opened up opportunities for dealing as a principal and finance commission business.
According to Managing Director Hansjörg Polz, the company wants to use this step to reach a new target audience in the banking industry that can or may only work with securities dealers under very limited conditions. They are hoping in Hofheim that their new status as a bank will let them build on and improve their own strong position in the Floater market.
The owner-managed TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank is authorised by the German Federal Institute for Financial Services Supervision (BaFin) and is subject to obligatory supervision. The identification number issued by BaFin (BAWe-ID) is: BA-35 / 109 425.
